Homemade Pizza Dough

Most everyone knows that pizza is a very popular (and delicious) food. But did you know it's also super easy to make?! At least this recipe is, I have tried others that take a lot longer, and are a lot harder. But this dough recipe is just five ingredients you can whip up real quick!

~ Homemade Pizza Dough ~

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup warm water
• 1 scant teaspoon yeast
• 2 cups flour
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 3 tablespoons olive oil

Combine the yeast and warm water in a small bowl. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, add the flour to the bowl of an electric mixer. 

Sprinkle in the salt.

Turn the mixer onto low, then slowly pour in the olive oil.

Finally, pour in the yeast/water mixture.

Stop mixing when everything comes together. 

Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Allow the dough to rise 1 hour before using.

• The dough can be stored in the fridge for several days before using. 
• The recipe may be doubled or tripled depending on the quantity you need. (In the pictures above I tripled the recipe.)

When your ready to make the pizzas just roll 'em out,

 

 add your favorite toppings,

and bake until they're just how you want 'em! YUM!!

 This is my definitely favorite pizza crust I've tried. It's so simple, so good, and so foolproof! You can double or triple the recipe to make as many pizzas as you'd like. I hope you try it!
