DIY Watercolor Marbled Mugs

I'm watercolor marbling a mug today, but you can use this technique on lots more! Vases, candles, anything really! These mugs also make great Christmas gifts!

~ DIY Watercolor Marbled Mugs ~

Supplies:
  • Nail Polish
  • Mug
  • Bin/Bucket
  • Toothpick
  • Supplies

Fill your bin/bucket with water, then pour in a bit of nail polish.
Swirl the nail polish on the surface using a toothpick.
Dip the mug into the water.
You can dip it twice for more interest. :)
Set the mug on a paper towel to dry.
Once dried place the mug on a cookie sheet, then in a cold oven. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees, Bake for one hour. *NOTE* This step is optional. Baking will change the color.* Then leave mug to cool.
